Clackamas County Jail

Telephones

Interview with Lisa

JM: Did you have regular access to telephones?
Lisa: No

JM: What types of charges applied for calling people?
Lisa: I didn't call anyone.

JM: Did you need to buy phone cards to call out?
Lisa: Not back then.

JM: Did the jail screen your calls?
Lisa: I figured if they were looking through two way mirrors, it stands to reason phone calls wouldn't be private but I didn't have a reason to call anyone.

i would like to know about how an inmate at clackamas county jail can call if i put money on his books for a card.do you have a way to distinguesh if it will go for a phone card or what?
